This Terms of Use Agreement ("Terms") governs your use of the site openstrands.com and its subdomains (the "Sites" and each a "Site") and the Openstrands service (the "Service") as either a registered or unregistered user. These Terms supplement and incorporate, by reference, the Strands Universal Terms of Use and are an agreement between you and Strands Labs, Inc., an Oregon corporation ("us" or "Strands"). By accessing the Sites as an unregistered user, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access the Sites. If you register to use the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority if it is higher than 18 in your jurisdiction, and you expressly accept these Terms. Please read the Terms carefully and print a copy for your records.
You may use the Site and Service for personal, nonprofit or noncommercial purposes, subject to volume and breadth limitations detailed here. For commercial purposes, please see the Strands Business Solutions site. You may create only one Openstrands account. You may not use any automated procedure or script to create multiple OpenStrands accounts. You may write applications that interface with OpenStrands. You may make calls that use OpenStrands any time the service is available, subject to volume limitations noted above. If you create and release applications enabling calls to OpenStrands, those volume limitations apply to the sum of the calls made by all of the installed copies of the applications in aggregate.
You may publicize your use of OpenStrands, however, you shall not issue any press release concerning OpenStrands or this Agreement without our prior written consent. You may identify your site or application as "Powered by OpenStrands" and/or use the Powered by OpenStrands logo, solely for the purpose of notifying your users that your application has been designed to interoperate with OpenStrands, and subject to these conditions. You may not state, imply or create the misleading impression that we or our affiliates sponsor or endorse you, your organization, or your OpenStrands-using application. We remain the owner of the marks and no ownership right is transferred to you, and you agree not to seek registration or otherwise assert ownership. You may not use our logo or marks in the name of an application, website, or business. We may, in our sole discretion, determine that your use of our marks is incompatible with our purposes, and in this event you agree to promptly cease using any such marks.
